Deliverect Acquires Tabesto, Blending Powerful Food Ordering and Smart Kiosk Technologies for Omnichannel Success
Smart kiosks to operate in the United Kingdom, France, Benelux, Spain, and Switzerland
FRANCE, 3, Dec. 2024 - Deliverect, a leading global food tech SaaS company, today announced the acquisition of Tabesto, the first all-in-one restaurant and fast-food ordering and payment smart kiosk. Now, Tabesto’s trusted technology will be equipped with Deliverect’s API-first software to boost restaurant omnichannel success. A leading kiosk solution with 1,400 customers in France and Switzerland, Tabesto will gain a valuable partner in Deliverect, tapping the company’s extensive experience in the food-tech industry to accelerate scaling efforts across Europe and globally. Tabesto will be a product of Deliverect and operate in France and Switzerland. Deliverect Kiosk will also be available in the UK, Benelux, and Spain, with plans to expand further into Europe and other regions in the following months and globally over the course of the next year.
Research shows that the global self-service market is expected to reach $63 billion by 2027, up from $40 billion in 2022. The implementation of Tabesto order technology dramatically streamlines the order-taking process––effectively reducing lines and transforming the in-store service experience––and has been shown to optimize operational management and increase sales by up to 30%. Together, Deliverect and Tabesto are enabling omnichannel customers to further digitize their restaurant businesses.
As part of the acquisition, 60 Tabesto employees will join the Deliverect team, with Guillaume Hourmant – Tabesto CEO and co-founder – acting as Head of Kiosk at Deliverect, where he will be responsible for ongoing product strategy.
