“Dream Come True” Deliverect Helps PINZA! Optimize for Delivery
PINZA! was created as a delicious hybrid between pizza and flatbread. A light, crunchy base with 80% water and just 20% flour makes PINZA! Easier to digest and even crispier than a thin-crust pizza. Authentic toppings from Italy, locally sourced fresh ingredients, and creative new pizza toppings like the 'Tandoori Chicken Pizza' make for a mouth-wateringly unique eating experience.
“PINZA! was created at the end of 2015,” explains Faisal Yabroudi, Co-founder and Head of Operations, “We started with one location in Business Bay, and today we have 13 locations across UAE [United Arab Emirates] and KSA [Saudi Arabia].”
The brand has expanded from its first location to open restaurants across the Middle East and as far as London, offering something new in these world-leading markets.
”We wanted to create a unique selling product from day one, so our main focus was on the dough,” Faisal reveals, adding, “We source the highest quality ingredients.”
The team developed a new base with its characteristics using a unique blend of naturally dried sourdough, soy flour and fiber, rice flour, and whole wheat flour.
“We use different types of flour,” he continues, “It’s light, crunchy, easy to digest. It also travels well on delivery – it comes hot, fresh, and crunchy.”
The nature of the product and the changes in dining habits that the co-founders witnessed over the last decade made focusing on the delivery market an obvious choice.
“We realized there was a growing trend in the market for food delivery, so we decided to take advantage of that, and we focused only on delivery,” Faisal says.

Co-founder and Managing Director Tamer Elkhayat tells a story of a system needing an update.
“Starting in 2015, you can only imagine,” he says, “I still remember getting an order via an email, and we would get a call: “‘Did you receive the order?’”
The ability to make changes to menus and descriptions or upload pictures in real-time has brought significant efficiency. In the past, changes could take up to two weeks, as they were managed by outsourced offices in other countries, leading to potential errors and further delays.

With multiple delivery partners to deal with, minor delays on each order quickly add up to become a problem. But Tamer says it also led to more errors, as information had to pass between more people and systems.
“So that process would take five minutes,” Tamer continues, “We had six, seven tablets, ten call center agents, from each aggregator. So you can imagine our number of mistakes in the kitchen.”
The team needed a more efficient system to successfully grow the business and manifest their ambitious expansion plans.
Tamer explains that implementing Deliverect meant leaving these problems behind, allowing the team to focus on maintaining the high-quality offering as they grew.
